Charles and Mary Combs
With more than 50 years of pastoral ministry behind us, our ministry has advanced to encouraging pastors, promoting and helping to inspire prayer among believers and churches, supporting missions and missionaries, and traveling nationally and worldwide.
Charles Combs
Charles Combs has been in ministry for more than 50 years, having pastored in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, California, and Arizona. He has ministered all over the United States and in 18 foreign countries. Charles was most recently the Senior Pastor of the Valley Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona before merging with Church for the Nations in July 2009, at which time he was ordained as Bishop.
Charles was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. After finishing high school, he attended Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota where he received his Bachelor of Theology degree. He has served as an Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, Bible College Instructor, Police Chaplain, and has been a member of several national and international ministry boards.
Charles and his wife, Mary, were married in December of 1964 and have worked side-by-side in the ministry ever since. They are parents of three daughters. They have five grandsons and one granddaughter, two sons-in-law, two granddaughters in-law, and three great grandchildren.
Mary Combs
Mary Combs was born into a Christian home and raised in Los Angeles. She gave her heart to the Lord at six years old and shortly afterward she was called of God to be in ministry. She and her husband have been married over 50 years and been in pastoral ministry in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, California, and Arizona. They have also worked on staff at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in Brooklyn, New York. Currently, they travel and mentor other pastors and leaders in ministry and speak nationwide.
